The Flip Of A Page and...

Hello Arising Community!
Well you made it half way through the first month of the new year! How’s it going? How are those New Years projects woking out so far?
I don’t know about you but I had some pretty big expectations about where I would be when the calendar flipped to January 1st 2019. But… the week I thought I was going to bring it all together, I was sick in bed with not an ounce of energy.
I was so discouraged and disappointed in myself for not getting things done sooner. I tend to have expectations of what is “right” and get pretty upset with myself when that doesn’t happen. Can anyone relate? Give me a “That’s Me!” In the comments.
One of my friends posted this on facebook and I had to laugh.

It would be just like me to let go of all the promises and expectations for 2019 and say “2020 Is gonna be MY Year for sure! If you’ve found yourself in this spot, you can see you’re not alone!
So what did I do? I turned on my worship music and re read “The Season of I Never Would Have Thought…” By Lawna Vawser. It’s such an incredible reminder of where God is taking me in this new season. I hope you will take a few minutes to read it and take it all in.
A little more on this next week.
It's going to be a great year and I hope you will join me with some of the fun things I have planned.
Blessings!
Sandi
