Do you See what I See? Do you Hear what I Hear?

Do you ever feel alone, longing for a gentle touch of love from someone you care about? As a single woman I go through seasons of aching for that simple expression of tenderness and caring.
This morning as I was waking up I Heard "stay here with me" as I Saw the image of His hand moving the hair away from my face. Just that simple act of touch brought tears to my eyes and the reminder of when I took time for intimacy with Him every morning. "Oh how I have missed this time with you Lord!" The memories flooded in along with the tears. Reminders that He never intended for us to be alone and loves us like no one else can.
From the beginning of time,
God said it was not good for us to be alone. (Genesis 2:18)
I have once again been crying out to God for Arise My Darling. I still believe that He will use this platform for those who long to See Him and Hear His voice. Bringing more of His presence, love, laughter, words of encouragement and direction, intimate times of knowing how much we are cherished with that simple touch, His smile greeting you in the morning. Isn't that what you want? A true friendship with Him? That's what I want!
Self Discovery Journaling is a tool for exactly that. Guiding you to a place of Hearing and Seeing as He shows up. I use to worry about what people would think when I talked about Seeing Him there with me or Hearing Him talk with me but now I know that there are many who long for that and need a tool to help them get there.
He's calling us to come away with him.
Song of Songs 2:10-17
10My beloved spoke and said to me, “Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with me.11 See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.12 Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land.13 The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.”
It's the purpose of Arise My Darling... My prayer is that in following this blog, and engaging in the writing prompts you will hear the voice of God be touched by His presence and filled with His Spirit.
I would love it if you would be vulnerable enough to share what you want to experience through this process.
